Luxury 2 Br Townhouse with Garage + Pool

Wake up and fall asleep in a king bed, and spend your days doing exactly what
brought you to Birmingham — without sacrificing an inch of comfort.
The Experience
Imagine pulling into your private garage after a long drive south on I-65 — no hunting for street
parking, no squeezing past strangers in a shared lot. Just click the remote, roll in, and exhale. You
are here. The townhouse opens up around you: warm wood tones, open-concept living space, that
unmistakable feeling of a home that actually wants you to stay. The 65-inch smart TV glows from
the living room wall. Beyond the balcony doors, Oak Mountain rises in the distance, its ridgeline
catching the last light of the day. This is the reset you were looking for.
Canopy Park is not a generic suburban complex. It is a thoughtfully built community nestled at the base of the Appalachian foothills, where the trailheads are close enough to lace up and go, and the city is close enough to hit a concert or catch a hockey game without a second thought. Guests who
have stayed here — business travelers, families, cyclists, couples escaping the city noise — tend to
say the same thing: they did not expect to love Pelham this much.
The Space
Arrival is frictionless. Your private entrance leads you straight in — no lobby, no elevator bank, no
shared corridors. The garage is yours alone, secure, with room for your gear: bikes, strollers,
luggage, road-trip supplies.
The open living and dining area is the social heart of the home. A plush sectional sofa (with a queen
sofa bed tucked inside for that sixth guest), a large dining table, and the 65-inch 4K smart TV make
this the room everyone gravitates toward. Step out onto the private balcony and you will
understand immediately why the views are worth talking about — Oak Mountain's forested ridgeline
stretches across the horizon, and on clear days the sunsets are borderline unfair.
The kitchen is fully equipped and genuinely usable: full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, blender, toaster, electric kettle, Keurig, and a drip coffee maker for when the
whole crew needs caffeine. Wine glasses, baking sheets, cooking basics — it is all here. Groceries
are minutes away.
Each of the two bedrooms is a true master suite — and that distinction matters. Both feature plush
king beds dressed in premium linens, room-darkening shades for sleeping in, ceiling fans, and
private en-suite bathrooms with shower and tub. No one is sharing a bathroom. No one is sleeping
on a pullout while someone else gets the real bed. Two guests, two couples, or a family of four can
all wake up feeling like they had the room to themselves.
The dedicated workspace features a full desk, ergonomic chair, and high-speed Wi-Fi — fast enough
for video calls, file uploads, and back-to-back meetings. The laundry room has a full-size washer and
dryer. Families will appreciate the Pack n Play, high chair, and children's dinnerware — no need to
pack or rent.
Community Amenities
Canopy Park's community amenities elevate this stay well beyond a standard rental. The
centerpiece is the saltwater pool — open Memorial Day through September 30 — sparkling, wide, and
surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas perfect for slow mornings. The pool area connects to an
outdoor kitchen with BBQ grills, making it ideal for an evening cookout with the crew.
The fitness center is fully equipped with cardio machines and free weights, open 5am to 10pm — no gym membership required, no commute. The clubhouse lounge features a pool table and shuffleboard, a welcome break on rainy afternoons. Step outside and you will find a hammock area shaded by mature trees, plus fire pits and additional outdoor seating. For guests traveling with dogs, the community pet spa makes cleanup after a trail run genuinely easy. The yoga studio rounds out the wellness offerings — a quiet space to stretch, breathe, and decompress from whatever you left behind.
Location and Access
Canopy Park sits at one of Pelham's most strategically positioned addresses. Interstate 65 is two
minutes away — north to Birmingham (20 minutes), south to Montgomery (45 minutes). The
community places you equidistant from urban energy and genuine wilderness in a way that few
short-term rentals can claim.
Oak Mountain State Park, Alabama's largest state park, is five minutes away by car — and closer
than that if you ride. A dedicated bike path connects Canopy Park directly to the park's trail
network, where 50 or more miles of mountain bike trails wind through hardwood forests and over
exposed ridge terrain. Cahaba Cycles, the region's best bike shop, is nearby and offers rental
discounts to Canopy Park guests.
Directly across the street: the Pelham Civic Complex. This is a multi-use entertainment venue
anchored by an NHL-regulation ice arena — home to the Birmingham Bulls minor league hockey
team. The complex hosts Bulls home games, public skating sessions, youth hockey tournaments,
and a rotating calendar of concerts, trade shows, and events. It is an asset that most travelers do
not discover until they are already here and cannot believe they almost missed it.
Within easy walking distance: Taco Mac, additional dining and casual bars, and grocery stores for
stocking up. Birmingham proper is twenty minutes north, putting the city's full dining, arts, and
nightlife scene within easy reach — UAB Medical Center, Regions Field, and the entertainment
districts of Lakeview and Five Points South.
Perfect For
Business travelers who need strong Wi-Fi, a real workspace, and a kitchen that beats expense-
account dinners every time. Families who need two separate adult bedrooms and actual gear for the
kids. Mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts using Oak Mountain as their basecamp. Pet owners
who want trail access without sacrificing comfort. Couples looking for a weekend reset with access
to great food, live sports, and open sky. Birmingham visitors who want proximity to the city without
the downtown premium.
